Good day, everyone! Thanks for visiting the FF7 club. This club is about Squaresoft's (now Square-Enix) PS1 game, Final Fantasy 7. Why did we choose to make this club? Well, because we just love FF7! The characters, the complex storyline, the atmosphere and basically everything else is simply great, and we thought it deserved a fan club.

The club is back in action, and it's time for a new contest!

Contest Description

While the previous two contests were more on the humorous and light side, this contest might prove to be the most challenging contest yet.
I'm sure we all remember those emotional, dark, witty or just plain hilarious moments in Final Fantasy VII that stayed in our hearts and eventually caused us to like the game as much as we do. Therefore, in this contest you are given the option to make* your favorite and most memorable scene of Final Fantasy VII.

When you're done, upload the finished piece to your gallery and send us a note with a link to it.

Deadline

We are aware that after such a long "sleep" it might take a while to recover and get the members to participate in the activities as much as they did before, and also give the members who are busy in the new few months the opportunity to participate. Therefore, you are given 3 and a half months to complete this challenging task - the contest ends on the 1st of August.

Note: You can relax; the cosplay-each-other contest held last year has in no way been ruled out - all the submissions have been kept, and the contest will continue after the current contest.

*You are more than welcome to be creative and go beyond drawing - if you're interested, you can submit cosplay, dolls/sculptures (as long as they are your creations alone) or any other art form that can be used to portray the selected scene.



.::Joining the FF7 Club::.

If you feel about FF7 the same way we do and would like to join the club, here is some stuff about joining:

1. If you want to join the club, send us =finalfantasy7club a note. Any notes sent to the admins requesting to join the club will not be accepted! The title must be about joining the club, and must be understandable.

2. After a while, you will receive a note saying that you were accepted, and you will be added to the member list. We can reply in either a minute or a week, although a week is unlikely.

.::Promoting the Club::.

After joining the club, you should try to help promote the club. How can you do that? There are a few ways:

1. Link to the club on your journal, either by writing the address or by writing :iconfinalfantasy7club:.

2. If you draw FF7 fanart and are about to submit it for a club contest we make, you should link to the club.

3. You can also tell people who like FF7 about the club, they might be interested.

4. Put a link and a brief description about the club in your signature.

.::Why Should I Join the Club?:..

A club is all nice and cool, but why joining it? Well, by joining the club, you will be able to meet other FF7 fans such as yourself. You can participate in fun contests, and get some pageviews when winning. You can also get to be the member of the month, if your FF7 art is exceptionally good.

Contests?

Probably one of the best things about clubs are the contests. In those contests, you will be able to show your drawing skills by submitting FF7 fanart for a selected subject. Every once in a while, there will be a contest with a selected subject. For example: in this month's contest, draw a battle between Cloud and Sephiroth, Cloud preparing his Omnislash while Sephiroth attacks from above.

Members will send us their fanart (only by notes!), and the best drawing will win the contest. The judges are the members.

Submitting Fanart

If you would like to submit your Final Fantasy VII fanart to the club, send a note with a title and a comment, and it will be added to the scraps section. Every month one submission will be chosen as the best of the month and will become a featured deviation. So, er, submit away!
